Billy Joe Saunders Suspended Over ‘How to Beat Women’ Video

In a statement on their website, The British Boxing Board of Control have suspended Billy Joe Saunders sick video, where he is hitting a punch bag and advising viewers how to hit their female partners if tempers flare duding the current COVID-19 pandemic lock down, which angered many when posted on social media.

On their website the BBBofC state: “having considered comments made by Billy Joe Saunders on social media have suspended his boxer’s licence pending a hearing under the Board’s misconduct regulation, at a time and venue to be confirmed as soon as possible.”

On Saturday the 7th March 2020 Cumbrian fans of the pugilistic arts packed the Hoops Basketball Centre in Barrow-in-Furness to support local heroes Lee Kellett and Callum Pearson, as they co-promoted their first professional boxing event, which they also co-headlined.

Today’s Go-Boxing ‘Fight of the Night’ is between Barrow’s own Callum Pearson (5-1-0) versus Ghana’s Daniel Aduku (11-2-1) for the Professional Boxing Council (PBC) International Super Welterweight Championship.

What an absolutely sensational Battle Royale this contest proved to be, it was an all action war – enjoy.

Whyte Vs Povetkin & Selby Vs Kambosos Jr Rescheduled to July Due To COVID-19 Pandemic

In line with the Government guidelines relating to COVID-19, Matchroom Boxing have postponed all events scheduled to be taking place in May, including Dillian Whyte vs. Alexander Povetkin at Manchester Arena on May 2, Lee Selby vs. George Kambosos Jr at the Motorpoint Arena Cardiff on May 9 and Oleksandr Usyk vs. Derek Chisora at The O2 in London on May 23.

Subject to the developing situation, Whyte’s Interim WBC Heavyweight World Title clash with Povetkin has been rescheduled to Saturday July 4th, while Selby’s IBF Lightweight World Title Final Eliminator against Kambosos Jr has been rescheduled to Saturday July 11th. Tickets will be valid for these rescheduled dates or refunds will be available from your point of purchase.

A new date for Usyk’s blockbuster Heavyweight showdown with Chisora is also being worked on, with tickets remaining valid for the rescheduled date once announced and refunds available from your point of purchase.
